I think other than down pouring rain another factor to the crash could be they were going to fast for weather conditions and they could have been speeding. Reasonable and prudent speed means that not only do you have to obey the speed limit signs that are posed, but you can’t go any faster than than what reasonable and prudent under any conditions. I think the lack of driving experience does play a role they were probably going to fast for the curve because young drivers think there invincible and can go faster than the speed limit. Lastly, 8:30 could have been the time the teens were going to school and they also could have boon running late. This is what I think other factors could have played into the horrible crash.

Another reason for the crash could be that the driver was speeding and/or did not adjust his speed to accommodate for the weather conditions. The phrase “reasonable and prudent speed” means a driver must not only obey the posted speed limit, but must also adjust speed according to road conditions. I believe a lack of driving experience could have played a role in this crash. I do believe that the crash happening at 8:30 am was significant. I think this because morning traffic is usually heavy during the morning hours.

I personally think that they could have been goofing around, or been distracted by music or some type of cellular device. I think this because many kids lose their lives to these actions, and there were two boys that could have been distracting each other.  Reasonable and prudent speed means a speed that is safe and acceptable for the conditions that day. Maybe the speed is 35 mph, but it is snowing so you should take it like 25 mph instead. I do think that could have been a factor. The young man that was driving could have never driven in the rain before which led him to losing his life. Yes, it is significant.  Since it was late at night, he could have been tired and lost control or had a hard times seeing due to rain and darkness. Some more experience and more focus could have saved these boys lives, is what I think.
