Welcome to Port Washington High School's Online Driver's Education Program
Port Washington High School
The first and only Wisconsin High School to offer a Department of Public Instruction APPROVED 30 hour Online Driver’s Education Course. This course is open for enrollment at ANY TIME!
Any Wisconsin High School student, 14 years 9 months old or older, can take this course. This course will satisfy the 30 hours of classroom the Department of Transportation requires to obtain your Instruction Permit.
Here’s How It Works!
1. Grab one of your parents and watch the below video to see if your computer will operate our program.
2. Click on the “Course Description” link and read our requirements. Our course is divided into 40 sections. Each section is 45 minutes long. You can take one section a day. There will be a quiz at the end of each section that you must pass with a score of 80% or better to move on to the next section. Please read our “Course Description” page for a more detailed description.
3. Once you register for our class, you will create a username and password. With this username and password you can log in and out as many times as you wish to complete the course. Please read our “Course Description” page for a more detailed description.
4. Once you have successfully completed the course you will be emailed a course completion email. After you turn 15 ½ years old, you can take that email and register for the Behind the Wheel portion of Driver’s Ed at any provider you wish (check with your local Behind the Wheel provider). Please read our “Course Description” page for a more detailed description.
The fee for this course is $99. You will pay with a credit card and there are no hidden fees. Checkout is done through PayPal but you DO NOT need a PayPal account to pay with a credit card.
